Ever since the introduction of motion-controlled gaming from Nintendo Wii, the other players in the gaming industry have tried playing catch up. Microsoft and Sony entered this much dominated space with Kinect and Move which were completely different approaches to this segment. While Sony enhanced the approach from Nintendo with more precision and high definition graphics, Microsoft has gone with controller free experience.
While this has kept the console gamers involved, the announcement today from Intel about Razer's Sixense system makes similar experience available for PC gamers. The Intel version of the device is more like a modified controller of Wii, but has the killer game of Portal 2 compatible with it, which might be a big selling point. It is to be noted that both Sony and Microsoft versions of the motion controlled gaming peripheral do not have a exclusive, not to be missed game yet.
