The Company claimed this to be the most powerful phone and with the caption that states that this phone will redefine the line between the laptop and a phone. The specifications and the short preview of the phone does seem to second that, as this phone seems to pack more power than some of the desktops that I have owned in the past. There are definitely lot of of firsts for the details we have seen among smartphones recently.
- This will be the first phone with 1930 mAh battery, for longer activity time
- Finger print recognition to encrypt the data on the device
- 4" QHD display, with 24 bit graphics that is better than any other smartphone today
- Tegra dual core processor
- Standard Webkit and Full Firefox browser with tabs
- WCDMA 850/1900/2100, GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, HSDPA upto 14.4 Mbps
For the power that is packed in the phone, the dock accessories that are available make it possible to connect the phone to a TV using DLNA or to a laptop using the WebTop application. The WebTop application makes this a real mobile computing device with full productivity. The only shortcoming so far is the older version of Android and the custom skin of MotoBlur that is enabled on the device
All that is pending to be see is the price, release point and the afford-ability of the device. Hope the competition around this market will bring down the price of these phones and make more of the unlocked. The details of this phone are available in both AT&T and Motorola sites.
