News: Nook Color running Honeycomb (Video Link)

As soon as Google released the preview SDK for Honeycomb, the developers had released tons of information about the platform. It was also announced that Nook Color the eReader (tablet) from was updated with the preview version of Honeycomb and not an official video demonstrating that has been released

As reported in Engadget, with additional enhancements for hardware acceleration, the user interface does look good on the device. The first generation device of Nook Color may not be able to compete with the dual core and high end specifications of other laptops announced, but if I am getting this experience for $250 then this is definitely worth looking into.

We are waiting for Barnes and Noble to release the 2.2 upgrade for Nook Color, may be they should go ahead with 2.3 or 3.0 instead, as it is not going to be long to get our hands on those.
