News: Google revamps iPhone App, new Name and Design

Google has been enhancing the Google Mobile application for iOS platform constantly. The ability to do voice search, image search and normal text based along with the quick access the mobile apps has definitely made it one of the very useful applications in iOS. Google has announced the the update for the application today, which rebrands the application and also gives it a completely revamped user experience.

The application will be branded as "Google Search" to focus on the search ability and also has the basic interface mimicking the desktop experience.

This interface redesign now has support for swipe gestures that are neatly integrated to provide different ways for the user to work with the application. The application also provides quick way to access the Apps using the button on the bottom.

When the user swipes left / right on the page, the search categories are provided that helps in refining the search further. Check the video below to see the new interface.
